Superb

Very good value, comfortable bed and great breakfast.

The room we had was on the top floor up some steep stairs which was absolutely fine for us but might be an issue for anyone with limited mobility.

This is a great find

This is a very well run guesthouse with fine furnishings in the public areas. The rooms are good, but very variable in size. Breakfast cooked to order and splendid (try the poached eggs!).

An issue with my room, which actually was rapidly resolved by the staff.

The professionalism throughout my stay. Beautiful building. Comfy bed, great views of the surrounding Countryside. Fantastic cooked breakfast.

My stay was unfortunately marred by having a very noisy and disruptive guest in the next room.

Beautiful property, easy to find and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent!

Bed not very comfortable- the mattress needs to be a better quality. on arrival staff were confused about my booking and gave me very little information about how they did things there.

This place has real charactor, it's my favourite B&B in Britain. Breakfast was exceptional, I had full vegetarian English, in their wonderful breakfast room, with its extraordinary view. I love all the ornaments and decor, particularly at Christmas, but all year round. My room was comfortable, with en suite. I have been twice now and both rooms were great, even with shared bathroom. Great location for Stockport and The Peak District. They work very hard to make this place what it is.
