The location (one street crossing from The Pavilion) and facilities were great.

The service was awful. They seemed to have rules that they didn't communicate. Like taking all your towels (even the clean ones!) and leaving none in the room. Had to ask 4 times to bring us towels until 7 pm. Next day I had to hide some towels in order to have at least one. Bear in mind that I'm a very relaxed person but I expect to have something to dry myself with in my room. On arrival our son's extra bed wasn't ready (the reservation was specified with the number of passengers and his age). It took 6! calls to reception to have it set. Breakfast was plagued with really spiced food without any description or warning. Bear in mind, we aren't picky eaters and this was the only hotel in a full month travel in Asia where we had problems to eat.

Two days was enough for us in KL.

Comfortable clean room. Centralish location Tip. Get a taxi from airport. KLIA express plus monorail cost far exceeded the taxi fare. Also difficult to negotiate the disrepaired pavements and none working lifts at stations.

All European food at breakfast stone cold. This was at 8 in the morning!
