Great location close to KaDeWe and Ku'damm Public transport close by Standard as expected by Motel One chain, no surprises Friendly staff

Nice location close to Wittenbergplatz station and busy shopping/restaurant area. I was there for NYE and accessing the party at Brandenburg Gate was conveniently located.

Room was very basic with no tea/coffee making facilities. The duvet provided in the room was a single which was not ideal.

NEVER AGAIN!!

My precious ring was stolen from my room. On the second day of my stay I forgot my 3 rings on the table, and when i was back, I only found 2 of them, the 3rd which is the most precious (250 euros) was stolen!! At first I thought it was lost in the room and asked the receptionist to tell the cleaning lady to pay attention when she cleans, maybe she finds it here or there. the next day, I looked for it myself in all the room and I was sure it was with the other rings on the table, so it was defintely stolen!! I told the receptionist and they said we will ask the cleaning department tomorrow, I said I am leaving tomorrow!! They weren't even sorry and treated the issue very lightly. I told them I book motel One once a month when I visit Berlin for work and I'm a frequent client and they also didn't care. on the last day while checking out i talked to another receptionist, she took my number and said we will call you after we ask the cleaning department, AND NO ONE CALLED!! Motel One Tiergarten staff knows nothing about hospitality, a ring was stolen from the room and they didn't think it was an urgent matter to contact the cleaning staff same day!

Covered the basics, but dont like being cold at night!

The location was great, the price was very affordable, and the room covered most of the basics. Staff were friendly and really helpful.

My only problem, but it significantly impacted my comfort, was that the duvet was tiny. I understand I booked a single occupancy room, and I was a single occupant but I think a full size duvet would have been so much better. The aircon in the room was temperamental too.

Excellent staff. Great service throughout my stay from everyone, particularly the night manager who checked me in, and the bar man who served drinks on the evening of the 22nd of November.

Would be great if bacon was available at breakfast.
