Superb

Great Staff & Hotel even if under construction

Great Staff and clean and modern hotel. The staff even helped us in finding great medical care for an emergency. Thanks a lot! So overall great experience and we can really recommend a great breakfast place (auntie Mae) 10 minutes into the city and a great restaurant 3 minutes in the other direction (coconut). overall we think It was also from the location great as a starting point on the island if you are comfortable with taking a bike or taxis.

It seems after Covid a lot of shops are more far away. Still, it is under construction and probably will get much better in the next season! :)

Very good

The room was very large, well equipped and clean. The location of the hotel is also very good. By scooter (300 Bath per day) you can reach the beach in a few minutes, within 30 minutes you are in the south or within 20 minutes in the east of the island. Nice restaurants are also nearby. The hotel has a small beach as well as a saltwater pool.

Perfect place for relaxation and quiet enjoyment

The location is lovely. When we visited the beach area was under repair but we liked the pool on the canal a lot, the green, animals,quiet atmosphere and pool access right from our room. Wonderful!

Absolutely fantastic hotel that needs tiny renovations

The room with a pool access is amazing. You get a lovely view on the river and can jump in the pool first thing in the morning. We really loved the location as it was quiet and peaceful but had plenty to do nearby (including a lovely cafe for breakfast, a great cocktail bar where you can watch sunset and an amazing seafood restaurant). This is all to the left when you exit the hotel. if you want to go any further on the island (and you should) you can rent a scooter directly through the hotel which makes it much easier as well. Overall we really loved our stay there!

The open part of the hotel needs some small renovations. We hope that the remaining part can one day be restored as well!

Excellent place to sleep well and relax

I liked this hotel the most during our stay in Thailand. Our room was exceptionally spacious and clean and every detail was considered: light concept, big bed, comfortable balcony, clean and quite big pool, good shower, and stable wifi. A special shout-out to the receptionist who was very friendly and helpful. Thanks again!

There's no breakfast at the hotel and the caf next to it offers mainly Western food and snacks. But you can rent a scooter at a reasonable price through the receptionist and enjoy all the good restaurants within a small radius.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Poor location

Rooms are nice and big, bed was comfy, nice large balcony, clean, good shower, modern. Honestly cant complain about anything except for the upsetting side of how half of the resort is closed down. The staff are a credit to the hotel. Its a shame because you can really tell this place thrived pre-Covid. It seems theres only 3 members of staff now from what we saw which are doing everything which isnt enough.

The owner is really letting this place down and Id be concerned the longer they leave it like this, the more they will get poor reviews and ruin the reputation of the resort. The beach bar, 2nd swimming pool, gym, restaurants and villas are all not in use and are in need of attention. The longer they are all left the more attention they will need, this costing more to get back up and running. Id have loved to have seen this place before it got let go. The grounds are all slightly overgrown which I assume is because the staff (or lack of) dont have time to get to it, the shower area by the pool and many other places are very overgrown. If everything got back to how it should be with this resort, the ONLY thing that could get a lower score is how far away it is from everything but on the flip side, if the restaurant reopens, you shouldnt need to leave the hotel for much else. The nearest shop for anything is a 15/20 minute walk and theres no streetlights or pavements which I know the hotel cant help but they should get onto whoever is responsible because its not really save walking at night. I feel sorry for the remaining staff because they are lovely and will do their best to help and speak good English.

Everything is great

Everything ! The hotel and the rooms are very clean and quiet, the beds are very confortable. All the staff is great, and Pen at the reception is really nice and helpful for all the excursions, boat trips or any other advice on the island ! I'd 100% recommend this hotel. It used to be a bigger hotel before covid but they still take care of the part they are not using, and hopefully it will reopen soon. Also the private beach is nice and quiet. Thank you for everything !
