Very good service from the staff, lovely hotel

Lovely traditional hotel in a brilliant location. The staff, bar and restaurant were great

We really liked the hotel and recommend it. We were disappointed with the swimming pool, it was very cold and the sauna wasnt even on so our trip to the pool and sauna which we were excited about after a busy day shopping lasted about 5 minutes!

Nice hotel with decent sized comfy rooms

Nice 'old world style' hotel. Comfy beds and nice size room. Cookies and drinks on arrival was a nice surprise. Excellent location for V&A and Royal Albert Hall, also perfect for shopping.

I read very positive reviews about the staff, but didn't notice anything beyond common curtesy. Yes, everyone was nice, but at check in they had to double check if our breakfast was included, and in three days, the doorman opened the door for us once... Maybe I was expecting too much.

The male receptionist misinformed me about the breakfast hours and suggested i have little time to eat. His atitude wasn't nice to me. Everyone else was very nice.

Just wonderful all the way around.

The service was the most stellar part. From Tim, at the door, who is a gem, his humor and kindness are incomparable, to George and the wonderful ladies at the desk, to the host of the afternoon tea. Every single one of them was helpful, welcoming and kind. If thats a reflection of this hotel chain then they can expect us as guests at all their locations. Our recommendation: Have the tea service.
