Very good

Review for my stay in Melrose

I like the facilitiy.the breakfast and the toilet and showers.The location was fantastic near the city centre to the main bus stop.

I did not like the room as beds sheets and towels were not changed for the number of days that I stayed.Few of the staff were not too open and friendly . I was not comfortable sharing a room with one of the staff working there.Desipte all these experiences,the hostel is very good for travellers that can stay for a few days Finally, the tourist information provided was not sufficient and clear enough for someone new to the state. I recommend for improvement with staff approaches to clients and tourist information be made available as it was not clear and I have to struggle to find my own way around.

Terrible experience had to leave in the middle of the night because I have the street noise

Location

There was no staff, there are steel plates on the street right in front of the windows because there is road work and cars are constantly driving over the steel plates. I had to leave in the middle of the night and drive back home to San Diego because I cannot get one minute of sleep. So much street noise with cars driving over the steel plates.

Really lovely staff and the other guests in the hostel were very friendly. Nice hang out areas also.

Good value, nice people, a bit adventurous

Very clean, close to Korean town.

Just by the road, can be noisy in the evening. Some people are too high and caused police to come at 4am.
