We were very comfortable in our room.

The breakfast was excellent. Service staff was great. Food was selected with special care. Front desk staff was friendly, efficient, and informative for getting around town. Front door staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff was helpful and efficient. Supplies were well stocked. There were two luggage holders which was nice. The floors were not thin and creaky.

Maybe if the bathroom light switch was inside the bathroom so you dont wake others when you turn on the light.

Very good

The location was great and the stay met our expectations overall. They gave our 2 kids a christmas hat the lights up when we arrived on Christmas Day. A lovely touch. Valet parking is the only choice if you don't want the extra hassle of figuring out where to park and we got it back in great shape. Would look into this place again if we wanted a central stay in Seattle city. The staff was friendly and accommodating too.

Not much that we didn't like.

Spectacular, but w/near location competition one may be able to find a better bang for the buck,

1) I liked the staff. Brandon, the director of rooms was a champ in accommodating us given our long hectic journey on Christmas day. 2) The rooms, ambiance, and location are great!

1) The parking was very difficult. $45 per night for valet or street parking for a limited time. If you are trying to have a nice time on a decent budget, this is not the place. Between the high hotel per night deposit and parking for a week; it bites into leisure funds to enjoy the city. 2) The room could be improved by adding a microwave. 3) The homeless group that hangs out on the 4th Ave. side can make one think twice when trying to enjoy a late walk in the city lights.

A good city hotel

This hotel was well located and from it we could walk all over downtown Seattle. It has good ambiance and the rooms are comfortable. One night we had a beverage and snack in Olivers and the place was delightful!

Always love staying at the Mayflower.

We always love staying at the Mayflower. I have children in mercer island, and have been staying at the Mayflower for over 25 years. I have stayed at other fine boutique hotels in Seattle. None compare to the Mayflower. Some may be more modern, but there is not another hotel in Seattle that can compare to the Mayflower. I told my husband, I thought that the Mayflower gave each employer a happy pill before walking in the door. I have traveled all over the states, and the world, and this is absolutely the kindest, most accommodating and happy people I have ever encountered. Also, the restaurant is nice, and Olivers makes the best cocktails anywhere. What more could you ask?
