Female dorms are great ! Clean toilet and have a good space in each bed with curtain for its privacy. No cockroaches or mouse .

It was nice to get a welcome drink at the bar.

I didn't find the hostel clean at all. The whole building, including the guest rooms smells weird, like mould. The air in the room was absolutely terrible and suffocating as there's no window. The curtain around the bed doesn't fully cover it. They also don't accept credit cards, and I had to withdraw cash, which wasn't great. I personally think it's not suitable for a long stay because there's nothing around the hostel, no restaurants or shops and the tours they're organising are quite pricey. Maybe you like it here if you are a party person who is a night owl and loves loud music.

All was super nice ! Mad Monkey staff fantastic, room cleaned everyday, bed confortable, equipment, activities each night on the roof, bar and restaurant...

Only the aircon which was a bit annoying to adjust.

Amazing people

All staffs were amazing and the place is clean and there is always someone cleaning even at night which above and beyond.

Wifi sucks and 4th floor didn't have any, you either go to the lobby to do your online work or at the bar on top floor to do your work

Great vibes, good location but most of all - incredible staff.

We had an amazing time at the hostel. The facilities are great, the atmosphere and vibe are amazing and it's in a good location. However most of all the staff created an awesome experience for us, consistently. Especially Sanie and Pedro. Would definitely return.

An incredibly memorable time!

The property was incredibly clean and comfortable but it was the staff that made our stay memorable. They ensured that all guests were made to feel welcome and appreciated. I loved our stay at the Mad Monkey in Cebu City!
