The hotel is BEDBUG infested

Horrible experience

The rooms were infested with bedbugs which bit us and crawled into our clothes and luggage. After our second night we woke up full of bites and we started to inspect the room. We discovered live bedbugs, and also blood stains on the matresses, curtains, walls. etc, which clearly means that the previous clients encountered the same problem as well. The hotel was fully booked so the receptionist was kind enough to move us to another hotel. However, this did not solve our problem.On the way home we discovered that we brought the bugs with us. we had to disinfect the car,luggage, clothes and everything on us. We have lost one day from our holiday packing and relocating, not to talk about the whole ordeal of fumigating everything, and the disconfort caused by the bites. We have asked for a full refund but the hotel refuses, they consider we have been compensated enough by being moved to another hotel. We have travelled to many countries and stayed in many places but we never imagined we would ever face this situation. We have contacted Booking as well but they cannot offer a full refund without the property's acceptance. Please stay away from this property.

Close to the city center, beautiful view from the window, delicious breakfasts, nicely decorated spa area.

Instead of one wide mattress, there were 2 single mattresses on the bed, which were constantly moving apart. There was no birthday compliment, not even a verbal greeting or card

Bright and comfortable

Clean bright and comfortable. Good size bedrooms. Nice dining and bar area. Spa facilities.

Limited hours for spa access. Bottled water provided in the room only on first day.

Superb

A great family hotel!

We had a great stay at Lion's Garden. It's perfect for families as it's right next to a fantastic play park. We also had two rooms with a connecting door which meant we had loads of space. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious and good value. When travelling with children it really helps being able to eat where you're staying.

The coffee could have been better at breakfast and the jacuzzi was a bit on the cold side!

The spa area is great Breakfast pastries are tasty

There is no steam room and the sauna is only open from 6pm to 9pm because they want to save money on electricity, the sauna also felt like it was a lower temperature. They charge 5 for the spa robe. The cleaner didn't clean the floor every day there was dust everywhere There was only one plug by one side of the bed, the other side had no plug The beds and pillows were not comfortable.
