It's a great location at the beach

We had a lovely time at the Cherai beach villa. The location is perfect, for both sunrise and sunset, and the beach is beautiful (with the added benefit of not being crowded!). Unni is extremely helpful and responsive. And we all really liked Chechi who prepared a wonderful breakfast for us every day.

The only caveat is that its not an easy location for taxi drivers to get a ride back, so they can be hesitant. So I would recommend planning ahead in advance. Unni had found us travel agencies and we were able to book every time.

we had a beautiful, peaceful stay at the villa and will definitely be coming back.

it is tucked away from the main beach, which gave it a very peaceful feeling. there is a small shed like place on the beach almost opposite to the villa where we saw the fishermen pull in the boat for the night.. was a beautiful experience

Relaxing stay by the beach with great home cooked meals

Location! Location! Staff! Light house villa is great place to stay - bang opposite the Cherai beach, which offers scenic sunset views. It was not hectic and almost felt private - which adds to its charm. The place is well maintained given the fact that we would invariably carry sand back to the house. It would be amiss to not thank Shreeja the caretaker whos genuinely kind and served some of the best food. We ate delicious home cooked meals thanks to her. Yummy :) Unni is always available via WhatsApp and it was great to meet him as we came during peak Onam season
