Exceptional

Beautiful accomodation with a terrasse and some nice views from the top. The host is really nice, he will book a taxi for you, make you breakfast or dinner. The rooms were also really nice.

It was a bit cold at night, but the host will try to help you by providing hot water bottles.

I will stay here every time I am in Leh.

The breakfast was more than satisfactory and more than filling. I even packed some to take on my way. The family and the staff they keep, are both, very considerate and punctual in their daily duties. It's always goos to let them know in advance whether you're having food with them, so they can ration and prepare accordingly.

This cannot be helped but for some travellers,the location might be far from the city centre. It wasn't the case for me. The homestay is very close to other locations like the Stupa which can be easily reached on foot, car or bike. Its also nestled in the middle of trees and vegetation and provides a nice night view on days the ambient light is minimal.

We ve had a very nice stay in Lhachik Guest House. The food was great, the staff very nice, and the room clean. The location is very good because far from the noisy city centre but just 10 minutes walk. The rooftop was amazing.

Bright room with large windows. Comfortable bed.

The local area has several dogs which could keep you up in the night. The room was a tad small.

I had an excellent experience staying at Lhachik Guesthouse. I had only planned to stay for a few days prior to trekking, but do to an injury ended up staying for about weeks and am very happy I did. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. They have a comfortable rooftop with great views and good chai is always available. Dinner is available at a reasonable price and is excellent. The rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. It is located in a tranquil neighborhood within close walking distance to everything of interest. It will be the first place I look to stay next time I am in Leh.
