Fantastic location, however not a pleasure apartment, very old and not properly cleaned.

Location was fantastic!

The apartment was Very old, nasty carpet and very rooms were poorly cleaned. Dirt sheets and Dust all over the apartment.

One night stay in La Jolla

Great view from balcony, great location in La Jolla. Room comes with kitchenette.

Very old building, feels crumbling down. Old, musty, sticky carpet in the room, toilet walls inadequately cleaned. Thin blanket. Old heating unit. Check out procedure very strict, even though its not full. Expensive self-parking. Overall, motel experience at hotel price.

A premier location in LaJolla that could use considerable maintenance and TLC.

Location to the Cove and Village. Bed and pillows were comfortable

We didnt have any hot water and had to shower in a suite on the far side of the terrace. There were no linens provided for the pull out bed. We had a disturbance in the midday of the night in the unit above us, no one answered at the office and we had to call the police. These guests were allowed to stay and spent the next night into the early morning rolling something (suitcase?) around on the floor. The furnishings were old and need an update.

No relaxation when there's a wedding

The location is the best thing about this property. The room was very clean.

A very loud wedding was ongoing until 10pm. The room has no AC so we needed our windows open which left the music blaring into our room.

Great location but would avoid the terrace suites up in the back of the pool area and choose rooms in the main building.

While our room in the upper back terrace location clearly needed renovation location and included many steps to negotiate (no elevator), the location in town and view was great and had protected parking.

The suite was dated and furnishings were minimal. No screens on huge suite front sliding doors (a seagull walked right into the living room while I was there) and the AC was only thru a tube in the two bedroom windows. Given the numerous steps to access the unit, I would have preferred a room in the front of the hotel with better parking and elevator access to the rooftop patio, which we could only see from a distance. We were told that the hotel could not make any improvements to the old terrace suites in back because they were considered historic buildings, but the condition of furnishings within and absence of screens seem to be only cosmetic renovations they could address.
