Wow this property is absolutely incredible The view of Sairee Beach from the property is just mind blowing - absolutely stunning!! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, assisting us with taxis to and from the property and also provided us with a seamless bike rental service. As other reviews say, the pool villas are on a steep hill but how else are you going to get those incredible views?! The bike we rented from the property was very new and had plenty of power to get up the hill with two of us on it. If you are comfortable on bikes you will have no issue driving all the way to the top of the hill. The villa itself is just outstanding. Really beautiful inside, very spacious, with brilliant amenities. The pool is huge and nice and deep. So relaxing just chilling out at these pool villas. Regarding location - Koh Tao is so small everything feels like a 10 minute bike ride away. Sairee beach is only a 5 minute drive or less. Thank you so much to the kind and friendly staff at Koh Tao Heights Pool Villas for making our stay unforgettable!!

The New Gold Standard

Absolutely incredible experience. Koh Tao Heights has set the standard for holiday experiences. I stayed in Villa Horizon, which was immaculate. The pool is even cleaner than in the pictures and the view is breathtaking. The location itself is extremely intimate too, set overlooking the busy Sairee beach in complete silence, high above and surrounded by rainforest. The views from the bathroom and bedroom also add to this experience, where I often saw animals journeying through the trees outside. I would highly recommend bringing a portable speaker too as the accoustics are great and it will be hard to annoy distant neighbours. Best of all is the office team located at the base of the private villa complex. They were available on WhatsApp and provided me with so much helpful assistance! They helped book ferry's, arrange tours, and provided details for their taxi driver who was cheap and very professional (and drives up to your villa)! You are also left with heaps of menus for food delivery options and the team provide cleaners and laundry service on a daily basis. Incredible!

The villas are located very high up a steep, winding hill. Not many independent taxi services are keen to drive up to the villas. There are stairs up and down, which are fun and thematic enough, however there is no railing. I enjoyed and embraced this element to the villa, as Koh Tao itself is so isolated and the experience was incredible and so close to the action. However, I wouldn't recommend this to immobile or elderly travellers.

The location is dreadful. You need a taxi to get you back and it was very loud with other villa guests playing music and music from the beach.

If someone is looking for a quiet location and to be isolated from the busy Koh Tao centre, its the place to be! Amazin

We loved the villa and the pool (even though the pool water was really cold). The view is more than amazing especially when the sun goes down.

Very steeply which meant that wed never return to the villa by feet, we needed to take a taxi for a 3-4 min ride.

This is not worth your money not the experience they are selling at all

The staff was very helpful and responsive.

Extremely disappointing and not worth the price at all. All in all and thanks to the quality of the service coming from the staff our stay was decent but not worth half that price. A few notes: - The place is extremely difficult to access (only 4x4 taxi get there) which means youre stuck - Its old and has not been renovated: the matress and the shower head need to be changed urgently for instance - Its not made for comfort: the pool and jacuzzi were so cold they were unusable, there was no microwave, limited ustensiles, the towel rack was not attached to the wall and fell on me

Great place! On the hill above the center (so you can't walk it) but worth the view and the place!

The pool and the view are amazing! The villa is perfect, with all the little details.. We had a great time there.

The check-in took a long time (the office was closed, even though we arrived at the open hours) and we waited for about 20 minutes on a hot day, after that we needed to climb on foot all the way to the villa- (and it was so hot and thought and the girls didn't offer a ride or even water).. Besides the unpleasant beginning, everything was wonderfully!

Idyllic.

Absolutely everything was perfect - idyllic villa in perfect location, quiet, secluded, private. Well equipped, though we sticked to deliveries or eating out. Furnishing tasteful, villa super clean, WiFi allowed for work and zoom calls while the kids enjoyed YouTube at the same time ;) I personally loved the steep stairs, so charming. Driving to the reception not so tricky, though I wouldnt try going higher up. Hotel taxi just great and the local prices. Finally, I want to say that the reception team was incredibly accommodating, always happy to help.

Dogs barking and chicken making noise at early hours ;)
