Good Value Rooms Close to the Tourist Bus Stop

I arrived very late at night after a delay at the airport but the host was understanding and welcoming when I woke him up. I was catching a bus at 6.30 am and he was up and cheerful once again, showing me a short cut to the tourist bus stop. This is the perfect location for catching an early morning bus.. It's basic and good value for one night.

For the price, it was as expected. The bathroom could have been more thoroughly cleaned.

Home away from home!

Everything. Kathmandu Peace Guesthouse was our base camp while staying in Nepal. There is a great hospitality, the stuff is very friendly and helped to organize different kinds of excursions. We had a spacious, clean room. Kathmandu Peace Guesthouse is located in a quiet side street, has a nice roof top garden with view to Swayambhunath and multiple breakfast/lunch/dinner opportunities in the neighborhood.

Tranquillity in Thamel

The staff are very friendly and helpful The guesthouse is in a quiet area of Thamel Excellent small restaurants surrounding the guesthouse. Great shower after a long 15 day trek to Everest Base Camp.

The location was perfect! Great little place in the heart of Tamil ... was quiet and a lovely rooftop area to sit and chill. The owner and his wife were super sweet and kind. I would def suggest this place, and I will be staying here next time I come to Kathmandu.

Great value and awesome staff.

Great stay, lovely family run guesthouse in Paknajol, really close to Thamel without the noise and bustle . Nice room with ensuite and awesome hot shower. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Deri deri ramro cha !!! Mero sathi.

Superb

Hotel very very close to the tourist bus station but in a quiet street. Friendly staff. Bedrooms getting a bit old and quite basic, but it was clean and good value for the price and the location, and we would definitely stay there again.
