Superb

Nature lover's paradise

This is a very special place if you like nature - you see many birds, monkeys, squirrels, lizards,... The sounds are amazing and the garden with pool and stylish lounge/restaurant area is very beautiful.

One just needs to be aware that the bungalows are open, there are only rattan sliding doors. Even though we did not have any animals inside the room (it's very clean!! ) , it could happen.

It is just a perfect getaway nestled in the jungle filled with the warmth of Sri Lankan hospitality

It is in the middle of nature and surrounded by lush vegetation. You can reach the busy city and the beach in 10 minutes by TukTuk but can relax and unwind enjoying a peaceful retreat. Super nice, helpful and friendly service. The food is freshly cooked. Really a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Sri Lankan culture.

It was very stylish and very remote. The food was also very good and staff helpful

Its quite remote which was difficult to be dropped off at. Also there are lots of bugs - so be prepared! I also thought the pool furniture could be upgraded

Very good

Beautiful, relaxing space with amazing and attentive staff who could not do enough for you.

We loved how peaceful and beautiful it was. We opted for dinner one evening and the food was absolutely incredible, with great service too.

We personally found there were too many bugs, especially mosquitoes. Although there was a mosquito net and repellent provided by Kaju Green, the insects just loved our English skin. This certainly did not ruin our stay.

Amazing lodge but wouldnt go back

The bungalows are really nice as is the common area. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Good, healthy food overall if youre not expecting western food. Its a beautiful place to be, and looks like the pictures. The yoga sessions with Nadeesh were good, what a great guy. Tuktuk shuttle to town and canoes for guest use are a nice touch. You really do feel like you are in nature.

The massage was the worst massage of my life. Im not sure if it was a temporary therapist or the regular one, but it was unprofessional and unpleasant - I couldnt wait for it to be over. Id be surprised if shed had any formal training. Not the propertys fault so I hate to mention it but I wish Id have known, since I wanted a peaceful getaway in nature but every single day there is what sounds like a religious ceremony broadcast very loudly from around 05:00-07:30 and again 18:00-22:30. Even through the (very thoughtfully) provided earplugs, I could not sleep while this was happening, and Im not a light sleeper. It also meant that it was not a peaceful stay, or that I could catch up on the sleep I wanted. Lastly you should know that there appears to be some taxi mafia situation in town, I didnt opt for the resort transfer since its double the price of another taxi. The taxi service wouldnt pick me up from the lodge citing safety concerns. I got a tuktuk to the nearby beach but still as we were getting in someone (in fact the tuktuk driver that brought me there) came up to the driver and was intimidating him and preventing him from getting in the vehicle. He was visibly scared and racing to get out of the village asap. Again, not the resorts fault but this is information I wish I had.

Kaju Green as a very unique, luxurious, paradise-alike place. Beautiful design, original concept, eco-friendly solutions, closeness to the nature. Asanka & all the staff took a great care of us. Absolutely amazing experience 10/10!
