We were on the 9th floor. The view was astonishing and the room very comfortable and friendly. The staff also.

Excellent views and even better service

We loved everything about our three nights stay at the Budapest Intercontinental Hotel. Our family of three booked two rooms, a single and a double, for three nights before boarding an AMAWaterways River Cruise. We stayed here at the recommendation of the cruise line and were not sure what to expect but we could not have been more pleased. The staff are extremely accommodating and will help you with anything you need from restaurant recommendations to sightseeing maps to booking taxis and currency exchange. They have a great bar and on-site restaurant, and while the breakfast was VERY busy every day we were there , we never had to wait longer than a few minutes for a table and there was always plenty of food available on the buffet. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and accommodate your needs. The rooms were quite large for European standards, and very comfortable and clean. We especially loved the views of the Danube river. We also loved that there is a Hop On/Hop Off bus stop literally across the street and it's a short walk to the Parliament building, Shoes on the Danube memorial and St Stephen's Basilica. We hope to stay here again on a future visit.

Location is perfect !

Swiming pool is so small compared to guests number and it is so cold for winter !just they have water where u can jump in after dry sauna! Food is in level of 4 stars! Doesnt worth it!
