Belle tents!

We stayed in a belle tent- great size and very comfortable bed! Really lovely staff.

The shared toilets/ bathrooms were pretty awful...definitely needed a few more cleans throughout the day - a lot of people using them!

Accomodation and processes were good

No shelves to put toileteries on in bathhroom. The toilet roll holder was poorly located - too easy to knock accidently and awkward to use.

Good facilities, central location

Fans in the villa not working properly (very slow) so became quite warm in one of the rooms without AC, we requested a bit of extra time for checkout and were told cannot do.

Pleasant

Small and lacking in comfort, but friendly staff and acceptable as a budget option in Byron Bay.

Quiet after 9 or 10 PM. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pleasant beach within walking distance.

The accommodation itself was disappointing - it was small and the layout was poor: lots of dead space, cramped bathroom and sleeping space, kitchen area was too big. Cleanliness was overall okay, but there was a thick layer of dust under the bed - maybe I shouldn't have looked - and the sofa was somewhat dirty. We also had to request new pillowcases, but staff were quick to help and offered complimentary chocolates and an apology. Finally, I was not aware we would be sharing space with camper vans and trailers - thankfully, noise was not an issue, but lots of children running around during waking hours, so not exactly a good option for a couple's retreat.

Toilet is dirty. Swimming pool, playground and scooter track are very small. Water in the pool is not clean. There is a public toilet in front of the bell tent, which is noisy until late at night.

The staff were friendly and the unit was clean and fresh when we walked in.

There was no air con or TV in the main bedroom. The bathroom was a bit shabby with flaking enamel on the sink and a shower curtain instead of a screen.

Lovely grounds and lovely staff, just not for us.

Lovely staff and really nice camp grounds. The Belle Tent was so pretty and had facilities directly behind so that was great.

Only that of a nighttime, the Belle Tent we stayed in did get covered in flies/bugs. We woke in the night to find loads of them in the bed and all up the walls in the tent, even though we had closed the front of the tent securely, not sure how they got in. But we did end up leaving at 5am as we could not sleep after so many bugs/flies were in the tent with us. I also left my earrings there by accident, but these were never found unfortunately.
