Value for money , centrally located and best host that you could get

Good breakfast with many options to eat from . Location is central and is at walkable distance to central station and to happening places in Amsterdam. Rooms are a bit small but since its a boat house but it makes up with adequate storage space so you would not find issues storing your luggage and keep stuff. Best thing is definitely the vibe , friendly staff and location . It has a good dining and sitting area where you can hang out and chill . The staff are very accommodating and do make you feel at home . I would like to thank Daniel and Alex and rest of the staff for being so welcoming and making our experience so great.

It was warm in the cabin, the location was perfect to get into town but have the quiet and fresh air of being on the boat

The single beds for a couple, the room is directly opposite the breakfast dining area, on news years the last thing you want is waking up to someone laughing loudly in the breakfast area at 8am, you can hear your neighbours whistle, we had to whisper so they dont hear our conversation. Previous reviews mentioned sensational breakfast, the ham and cheese were nice but not much more beside that and despite offering a fry up, they dont deliver when you ask for one I paid for 2 nights for me and my partner 600 it is certainly not a value for money

Angeline is very well kept, full of character, extremely clean, and easy to find. It is a short (~15min) walk from the Centraal train station. Daniel was a fantastic host. The rooms and beds are small, as to be expected, but there is a lot of storage in the room as well. We would absolutely return!

Everything. The experience, the staff, the location, the beds. Simply we will come back in the summer.

Nothing at all. We definitely recommend. I though it would shake a bit during night but i could not fell a thing. It was excellent.

As a mother-daughter duo we loved staying on Hotelboat Angeline!

For one night it was fun and a novelty to stay on the water so close to the centre of town. The cabin was small but the beds were comfortable enough. The host was super friendly, extremely helpful and welcoming, and put on a wonderful breakfast.

Only the bad-smelling carpet in the cabin :/

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the delightful Houseboat Angeline in Amsterdam, and I can't praise our experience enough. Daniel, our host, made our visit exceptional with his warm welcome and invaluable assistance, truly elevating our stay. The accommodation surpassed expectations, offering a perfect balance of comfort and affordability. The continental-style breakfasts were a delightful way to begin our days, boasting both variety and delicious flavors. Opting for the houseboat experience, having typically chosen hotels in the past, was a decision I'm immensely grateful for. The communal area in the evening was a fantastic spot for relaxation. With complimentary tea and coffee readily available and a fridge stocked with beers and wines operating on an honesty box system, our evenings were filled with added charm. Conveniently sourcing drinks and snacks from the local supermarket enhanced the overall experience. One of the highlights was the communal dining experience on large shared tables. This not only made breakfast enjoyable but also provided an opportunity to meet interesting people and engage in delightful conversations. In summary, my stay on Houseboat Angeline with Daniel as our host was a unique and memorable experience. I highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a blend of comfort, affordability, and the chance to connect with both a welcoming host and fellow guests.
