Very enjoyable.

We were upgraded but our room was too far from the lifts for us. The location of the hotel is excellent for our needs. We did not take breakfast at this hotel.

Since our last visit the Gin Bar has been moved and plays very loud music. Far too loud for us.

A wonderful New Year's Eve getaway

Everything was simply superb, from the friendly and welcoming staff to the bar and restaurant experiences. The rooms are extremely well-appointed, spacious and clean. We loved it!

Great pool, great breakfast, great location - Stay HERE!

Loved that it was across the street from the Zoo and close to both the Zoologicher U Bahn and S Bahn station, so you could get anywhere in the city very easily (if you are there for a couple days, do yourself a favor and get the Berliner Ticket - saves time buying tickets at the stations and you can get discounts at museums and etc). The hotel was extremely clean, my kids LOVED the pool. I did feel bad because the pool seemed to be more like a spa pool, but a lot of kids were in there too. It got a little dicey with older adults trying to do laps in a non lap pool, but it seemed to work itself out -everyone trying to be respectful of one another. Either way, my kids had a blast and met other kids. They swam for at least two hours every day that we were there. We selected this hotel for the pool in the first place, so that made us happy. The pool did get busy though and not a lot of chairs, but if you wait a few minutes, people were usually on their way out and I got a seat every time. Also, we were hesitant to add the breakfast, but I am here to say DO IT. It was the BEST breakfast weve had in Europe and weve been living in Germany for almost 2 years now. It has a lot of variety as far as cheeses and eggs, breads, muffins, juices, coffees, meats, and etc. There is something for everyone. And the service was very friendly and professional every morning. Also, the convenience of having a full on breakfast buffet every morning took alot of stress out of our morning trying to find a place every day. Highly recommend this property.

It was a little pricey as a family of 5 to stay here as I believe only 3 people were allowed to a room, so we had to book 2 rooms and i dont think i saw family room options. But, it was a very nice stay.

There is no reason to stay...

It's a 5 stars hotel ,then normally met our requirements to the following areas: - Very clean rooms - Very polite and friendly personnel in the areas of restaurant (breakfast) - 10 minutes only from train station and main public buses. - Very good breakfast

It was our fourth time in Palace Hotel and first after COVID. Some processes became non acceptable: -Hotel charges an extreme high hotel deposit (50 euros/night) to your bank card. The amount is not reimbursed with check out, but some days after. Meanwhile, you have spent time communicating again with Hotel, your bank etc. - Be careful of the wrong charges during your stay: review your card on a daily basis, because the solution is very complex: Reception needs to inform accounting department, and accounting the outsource company responsible for card machines management! Simply, you loose your whole day, until the cancellation message. - Check in time (officially) is after 3 p.m. However, if you pay 30 Euros before your arrival, the room is ready! If you believe that the above points respond to a 5 stars hotel in Berlin, you must acknowledge that visitors are not more than tourism victims.
