Great people, Great food, Great views

This was definitely our favorite spot we stayed at during our 10 days in Italy. The hotel itself was beautiful - from the lobby to the terrace to the room. We loved the free wine tasting before dinner and the food at both the buffet and the main restaurant was amazing.

We took the ferry and didn't realize there were a million stairs to get up to the hotel - so make sure you get a porter to bring your bags. We didn't and it was a rough (and sweaty) journey to the hotel.

So relaxing and enjoyable we will be recommending to our friends.

The hotel is very relaxed with easy check in and very comfortable rooms. Like all properties in Positano space is a premium, hence gymnasium and pool are not on offer. The staff are amazing, so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Everything was taken care of from a guest relations perspective with no fuss or drama. This hotel is highly recommended

Absolutly outstanding and unforgetable stay!!

We loved absolutely everything. Spectacular views, outstanding breakfast, huge size room, very attentive and very helpful staff, location of the hotel, good variety of TV channels, including business channels. It was one of the best experiences we had in the last few years. Definitely coming back and will recommend it to everyone. Huge thank you to all the workers at the hotel for doing a great job!

Hello, I am very surprised and upset of that message. I paid fully for my stay directly to the hotel by their demand to do so. Yesterday I paid for the room before getting it as a demand of them: 1. 670.40 euros for the room they said they get paid direct. 2. Another 329.60 euros directly to them for having sea view. 3. Today when I checked out they demanded against my will - yet, I had no choice but to pay - and I paid: Another 244.00 euros: 1. 32 euros for breakfast-even though the room includes breakfast - they argue that omelet isnt included, as well as didnt notify while asking for an omelet while serving breakfast. 2. Another 8 euros for taxes. 3. Another 100 euros for car parking over night - overrated charge they never priced it before only in the end of stay at check out. 4. Another 100 euros for 1 hour late check out-instead of 11 am we left at 12 - I explained that the evening before in check in they approved a late check out - as well as my baby 1 year old got sick and puked before we were ready to leave - we asked for a few more minutes to wash him I paid all with my credit card And I have invoices and receipts for all payments. Attached the pictures of all payments I want to put my complaint on these kind of Mis behavior and bad treatment. Especially after paying so much Thank you Erez

Modern Hotel

This hotel is beautifully presented and has lovely views of Positano. The daily breakfast was delicious. Its a short walk into town. The attached restaurant is very high end and has an amazing terrace with uninterrupted views.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Montemare

Staff was excellent. Enough were proficient english speakers to be able to explain how things worked. View was outstanding. breakfast was excellent. Room was somewhat small but this was not a very big deal.

Stunning hotel

Stunning hotel. Has a lift from road down to reception....no stairs. Easy walk from road to beach and port. No need to use stairs if you don't want to. Room was stunning with beautiful views and very clean. Lovely breakfast included. Highly recommend
