Hotel La Badia is a charming hotel with amazing and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although some are dated. The location offers breathtaking views, but can be difficult to access (Read More) by taxi. The hotel provides excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants. The pool is cool and abundant. The hotel is underrated and offers amazing views, great breakfast, and a short walk to the town center. The staff is friendly and the hotel is well-preserved. Overall, a stunning hotel with lovely staff and a great Italian vibe.

Superb

Great views from our room over the Bay of Naples towards Sorrento and Vesuvius Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff Quiet and away from the noise of the town

No meals served in the evening so we walked down into Sorrento for them, which gave us a lots of choice. It was ok as it kept us fit and an acceptable trade off for the quietness and great views We could have taken the car down if we wanted but chose to walk.

Property gardens and facilities are well maintained. Many cute corners to relax and read a book on the terrace, by the pool or in the garden. The walk into town is beautiful and all downhill, it's getting back up the hill after dinner that's a mission but I guess it helps burn all the pasta and pizza. We hired a vespa so it made it easier exploring Sorrento as there is nothing around the property unless you go into town.

Bed was not very comfortable.

My room was a bit depressing and not great for someone travelling alone who might spend a bit more time in the room than normal

The BEST!

My Friend and I loved everything about this Hotel. The room was the large and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious everyday we were there for a week. The Staff was outstanding. I found out it is Family owned and several of the family worked there. We even met the owner and she was a lovely Lady and very easy to speak to and so helpful. She was most days sitting in the Lobby. We felt like we were in a warm environment and well taken care of and safe. My friend and I still are talking about this Hotel and how much we loved Sorrento. We want to go back and if we did we would stay at the Hotel La Badia. I just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay !!!!! Caio for now, Kathy & Caren

Little slice of heaven

A beautiful property in a stunning location. I went here to relax in the sun and it was perfect. The staff were friendly and spoke fluent English but the place didnt feel too touristy, a little slice of Italy in an otherwise very touristy area. The pool was still open at the end of October and my room had a gorgeous view of the sea.

Very minor things that wouldnt put me off coming again - the bedroom window was very hard to open and close and the wardrobe door got stuck open, that was literally it! Everything else was perfect!

A great hotel in a beautiful spot.

Loved our stay here. The hotel itself was beautiful on the very top of the hill with amazing views of Vesuvius and the surrounding area. The walk up from Sorrento is short but steep, but we were aware of this beforehand so we didn't mind. We weren't expecting a sea view so when we got one we were delighted. The staff were lovely and super helpful, they even left us sandwiches at the front desk when we had to leave for our flight in the middle of the night. Breakfast was great and it was overall a wonderful experience. Very clean and great value for money.

The window in our room was quite small and the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze, but for the price it was perfect.

Restful stay in Sorrento !

The seclusion yet proximity to the town and the views. The friendliness of the staff and their helpfulness. Lovely continental breakfast! Nice pool area and scenic garden surrounds.

The hike up the hill to get back to the hotel from Sorrento.
