Very pretty! Prime Experience for the holidays.

Room wasnt as big as I thought. View was pretty good. Was not worth the price we paid.

Wanted more towels. Elevators were old and slow didnt get any hotel credit for downstairs resturant

Very disappointing

Good breakfast. Allowed early check in.

No Lunch, nothing for Christmas. They were reluctant to even give us dinner on Christmas day and there were no alternatives. Knew nothing about one or two good things to do on Christmas day. Receptionists were poor.

The hotel was ABSOLUTELY beautiful! The bed was so comfortable, the staff was so nice and professional. I highly recommend staying here, and it will now be the only hotel I stay at when I'm in Houston for a show at Theater Under The Stars. It's within walking distance to a lot of different places to eat as well, with a pizza place literally across the way. 10/10

It was a really nice hotel, but I've stayed at better

I loved the design of the hotel and the room, especially the room layout. Very nice size room, tub, shower, and sink.

However upon walking in the room it smelled like a toilet/toilet water just as it did in the lobby. As well as attention to detail being lacked when it came to the cleanliness of the room.

Good but could improve

The hotel was really nice, very vintage. Neat architecture.

Showers had no bench for women or handicap. Buffet was overpriced, and the food was not very good. Bed was like sleeping on a rock, not comfortable.

Stay authentic and experience the past in the present.

The Icon is a true icon. A hotel with a real authentic atmosphere. The rooms are spacious. The staff mis super helpful.

The hotel is a little outdated. It could use a facelift, but must keep its feel and looks.
