Very good

Location is close to the new port, if you are using the ferry that is just awesome. Rooms, pool and breakfast is all good.

There was some sand/dust in the floor of the room and we did not like it.

Great view

Nice clean modern ground floor room with terrace. There was planting next to our terrace with Tortoises wandering free. The swimming pool /bar area was stunning overlooking the sea and both the new and old port. The buffet breakfast was plentiful with the dining room overlooking the sea. Great way to start the day. We left on a late flight and the owners were happy to look after our bags after we had checked out. Later in the day we returned to collect our bags and spent a few hours by the pool until it was time to go. The owners were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay.

Fabulous hotel, facilities, position/ views and lovely town

Good vicinity to the town, accurate estimate of 10 min walk to edge of the bay of restaurants and shops. Fabulous choice of hot and cold options at breakfast. Fabulous facilities with lovely pool, bar serving food (we were well looked after by the owners for lunch snacks) and brand new changing facilities. Spectacular views of Agean Sea from room and pool. Felt like a luxury. Can't wait to go back.

Fairly steep hill from town to back to hotel but sort of liked it, feeling like I'd exercised well. Not much food wise nearby so you'd have to venture out for food.

Great value for money on an expensive island

The owners of the place were absolutely wonderful, always smiling and helpful. The swimming pool is really nice with an epic view, especially for sunset fans. There was also a very nice bar at the pool that upgraded the whole experience. My room was clean and tidy with a very pretty view of the sea. Breakfast was great with a nice selection of food. Location was awesome as it was only about a 10 minute walk from the town, but super quiet for sleeping at any time of the day. The hotel also has Parking, which was very helpful on a crowded island while renting a car. Overall I highly recommend it.

10/10, will absolutely return in the future!

The location is brilliant. 10 minute (safe) walk into the old town and only a slow incline on the way home! The pool area and balconies have stunning views over the sea and perfect sunset views. The staff are all so kind and couldnt do enough for you. The pool bar has a great selection of drinks and snacks at a reasonable price too! Also, the transfer service to and from the airport is a life saver! The owner gave us recommendations for bars, food and beaches and they were all amazing! Stay at Hotel Gorgona, you will not be disappointed!! Thank you!

The view from my room was astonishing, I had an amazing view of the sunset everyday from my balcony. The view can also be enjoyed from the pool. The breakfast was very decent too. My room was very quiet and comfy. Although is uphill, the city center is very close if you're with light weight. The staff was very kind and explained me how to move around the island.

Walking from the city center to the hotel with my baggage, I would recommend to take a taxi. Everything else was great.

The location is good but you need a car to go to the city center (10 min by car). The bathroom is really small and water leaked off the shower.

Nice place to come back asking a better room

The view and type of the hotel is great, facing the sea near between the new and the old port. Staff is very nice and good breakfast!

Unless you have vehicle (any type) it was hard for me to walk up the hill the around 800 meters from the area of the museum. Taxis were not available, so be prepared for a walk up, rent a car or be patient.
