Quiet place to stay 1st time in Amsterdam. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Bed comfy. Room dark

Pleasant staff - very helpful during booking and finding restaurants open Christmas Eve and Day. Helpful getting luggage to rooms; checking on taxi. Ordered a shower stool for wheelchair family member once we were there and he fell in shower! (I had told them room needs to be wheelchair accessible) Have some grab bars in shower! Loved the tub with hand-held shower head. Had a relaxing soak! towels super soft. Great breakfast buffet selection!

No place to unpack! No dresser and no luggage racks (these should be in every hotel). We placed our bags on top of chairs and desk. Only a closet. No counter space for toiletries, etc in bathroom! And no wash cloths for face. Would be nice to have even if not used by Europeans . . . No view or windows in rooms. I didn't mind and may be case for ground floor. But room very dark as result. My bedside light didn't work.

Beautifully designed spaces and great food

Beautiful room and common areas. Very clean and comfortable! Amazing breakfast. The neighborhood was lovely and close to the station.

Lack of privacy, the room had a huge window that faces the common area, so the curtains always need to be closed. Its a bit invasive, but not bad for a couple days.

Ok, but dark and not very comfortable.

The location is amazing - you can catch a movie before sleep. Part of the design of the place is pretty.

Its quite dark and not super clean. Staff is not very professional and would skip breakfast - disappointing. Also problem with privacy as window looked put on public space of the hallen. I had a cheap last minute price but otherwise really really overpriced.

Bedbugs in the room 106

The hotel is well located, not so far from the city and near the Hallen foodhall

when we arrived, it was not the most convenient room as we were just in from to the lift and staircase which was a bit noisy. But it turned out to be the least pleasant part of the stay. There was bedbugs in our room (106) I got bitten the first night so the next day we requested a full refund for the 3 nights we were supposed to stay, which they applied . My friend and I ended up ruining our first evening together in Amsterdam looking up for another place to stay and our trip to Amsterdam turned to be very unpleasant as I was scratching myself the whole time for the following days and had to throw almost all my belongings to avoid bringing the bedbugs back to my place.

The location was great

When we arrived and walked into our room, I stepped in gum on the floor which made me think the room wasn't properly cleaned. There was mold in the shower and dirt on the bathmat and it was very dusty

Hotel is located in a central cosy area

cleaning service was missed one day and no justification or excuses were given to us. Team gave us new towels to take to our room but this was the only solution provided.
