Deluxe room was good . Location of the hotel was also good

We were initially shown 2 rooms which was badly maintained in terms of cleanliness of washroom , size of the room and depleted furniture. After lot of deliberation we were given a deluxe room at some additional cost. The experience was really bad as we had arrived at the hotel at 5 am and were shell shocked with the person at the reception who was behaving rudely

Location and facilities were okay. Staff was supportive.

Mattresses and blankets were not clean. Mosquitoes were the real trouble that kept us awake the whole night.

Superb hotel

Superb hotel. Large practical room and bathroom. Soap and towel provided. Table and chairs in the room. Spotless clean apart from the usual Indian thing with not changing the beddings between each guest, but that I come prepared for. Aircon you can control yourself. Soft mattress and soft pillows. Friendly English speaking staff. No fuss booking, no fuss checking in. (If you have been around in India for a while, then you know what I mean). Add to that a restaurant with excellent food, that does room service as well. ATM and bottle store just down the road. Excellent WiFi that DOES work in the rooms as well. What more do you want? Kota seems to be gearing up to become the next big Rajasthani thing. It's got a facelift in pretty pink, and a stunning new 3km long Ghat area is in the making, nearly finished, a superb, not at all touristy, City Palace, and lots more dotted around. Definitely a very, very rewarding visit.

I nearly didn't book, because it says WiFi is available in common areas, while it works perfectly fine in the rooms too. This should be corrected on Booking.com

Not clean. Staff utterly dis interested. Food and restaurant are good.

The food in the hotel was very good. The hotel is centrally located so easily accessible and close to some main attractions.

The bathroom comode was damaged and all through our stay it was smelling. There was dust all over the furniture surfaces. The front desk staff has no knowledge about their city. So they couldn't guide us at all. For everything we ask they would tell us go check online. Even for booking a local taxi, I had to check online and get one. If you ask them any information about the places to visit they had no clue. Infact gave me wrong information that Garh Palace is shut down. So we didn't go there and missed seeing the place. We came to know later it was open. So yes, it's better we check everything online, instead of asking the hotel front desk!
