My go-to in Delhi

This is not the first time I've stayed here. It is my favorite hotel in Delhi. However, several years ago, some of the staff told me of renovation plans. I was so pleased to find wonderful renovations and stunning spots to take your meal in with a great view of the Jama Masjid. I will stay here again for sure.

We didn't get the room we originally booked.

Comfortable and Nice Old City Hotel. Does the job but not memorable.

This hotel is in a great location. The view of the mosque from the very nice rooftop restaurant was excellent and a great place to spend the evening. The food and drinks at that roof cafe was very good. The bed was super comfy, the room was clean, included tea coffee supplies and the old city sites are walking distance.

The shower was sadly cold, some of the staff werent as friendly as they could have been, and the lovely rooftop cafe isnt open for breakfast or lunch which was a shame. The room was fairly quiet given its central location but it isnt sound proof as it claims - the famous and relentless tuktuk beeping did travel into my room.

Noisy rooms on one side with a nice view but the quiet-rooms air was very bad with view onto a grey wall. Mold mold mold biggest minus points Not accessible by taxi

Superb

A great place in the heart of the Old City

We got two rooms; one a deluxe double room and the other the superior double room. Of these, the Superior was certainly the better value, as it was larger, and had beautiful views of the mosque. I would recommend that one for a little more money. The Gumbad Cafe restaurant above the hotel is pretty grand!

The "deluxe" double room didn't have its own coffee maker; no windows.
