clean, comfortable and convenient

The staff were so friendly and helpful. the room was very clean and comfortable. the breakfast was excellent. it was within a few blocks of restaurants and stores so you didnt need to move your car to your out. all around it was a wonderful stay.

Brilliant life saver when we needed an emergency stay over.

Friendly, clean. Decor was a little tired but that didnt detract from the ambience of the place. Staff were very helpful.

Except for the fire alarm disrupting our stay, it was excellent.

Front desk staff was helpful and positive. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Fire alarm went off and other patrons said it had the day prior too, caused by burnt toast in the breakfast area.

We got in very early and they stored our luggage and gave us breakfast. Check in wasn't until 3 pm. They even called us 2 hrs before check in to let us know our room was ready. The breakfast was outstanding. The lady there was so nice and friendly. She even had a raffle for a little snack bag for our flight home. 3 were raffled off. Will definitely stay there again.

Nice infrastructure, unfortunate reception

The breakfast was good and the two employees which we interacted with during our breakfast were very informative, committed and egger to assist as possible.

Being our first time traveling to the Fort Lauderdale airport, the whole experience started on the wrong foot. The three Holiday Inn shuttle drivers that we asked, didn't provide a clear indication on which of the shuttles we should take, and none of the three shuttles had any visible information as which one of the 'Holiday Inn' that they drove to (it seems there are many Holiday Inn' close by). When we finally confirmed with the correct shuttle, the driver did not want to store my luggage (we only had one), I had to store it myself, and I'vye we arrived to the hotel, I again had to remove the luggage myself. Entering the reception, we cheerfully greeted the receptionist as usual. The response was the coldest 'how may I help you?' I've ever received in a hotel. Unfortunately this experience was with both of the receptionists that we interacted with. Always a ver cold response, never a smile. I believe that interacting with a future AI receptionist will be more pleasant experience eventually. Our room was never cleaned again even after we asked the clearing staff if they were going to clean our room that evening. The next day, the electronic key provided, stopped working and didn't open the door. We had to go reception so they seemed to 'reprogram the keys' I'm not going again to this hotel.

Perfect place to stay to catch a cruise ship.

The young woman who greated us at the front desk was wonderful!! She was so kind in helping us get the Uber app on our phones when my friend and I were clueless. She was so patient and so helpful that it made our stay perfect.

At first it was the view from our 5th floor room of the holding tanks however when we got up and caught sight of our cruise ship this morning out of our window the view was not so bad after all .

Close to dining, shopping areas and to the airport/cruise terminal

The lady at the reception desk at our arrival was absolutely unhelpful, almost rude and instead of trying to solve the problem, just raised her shoulders and sent us away. The room was very stinky, the carpet smelt musty.

The pillows were GREAT! The African American lady at the front desk on December 1st was Wonderful though I dont remember her name but she recommended a restaurant and we had an excellent meal thanks to her!

Should have stayed somewhere else. Chose this hotel for the airport shuttle and it never showed.

Breakfast.

Called front desk for shuttle and they said it was on the way, but it never came to pick us up. We had to get a taxi after waiting over an hour. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport. Wifi didn't work. TV didn't work. Paid for a king room and got two double beds.
