Rude staff that were unable to give accurate information about the property. Cancelled booking upon arrival and went and stayed at the comfort inn instead. Much better place to spend your money.

I imagine it was nice once...

It's central location in Cairns Lake St district is great...close to all sorts of activities as well as Woolies and quite a few cafes, pubs, and restaurants. The bed was really comfy. For $10 continental breakfast was okay as well. Cleaning staff very friendly. The aircon and ceiling fan were also good in my room (although heard one man complaining about their aircon not working). The balcony outside the dining room was very nice, but it's only open until 1030am. I would have liked to sit out there more often.

It's all looking rather dated, as in the bathroom shower and tap war. The carpet in the "walk of shame" hallway is all rippled and when you are a falls risk (I am currently suffering with a radial meniscus injury in my left knee), it's a bit dangerous in my opinion. The wifi was just useless. Reset the modem they said...well that didn't work and so was forced to personal hotspot from my phone to get any semblance of life in my laptop, which I need for work. Oh and the chair provided at the writing desk in your room was metal...no cushioning at all and heavy as anything...no good when you've got an injury. One last thing...the pool was out of order...I didn't ask how long for or when it would be available, so if a pool is your thing, ask the question before booking.

Terrible, glad it was only one night.

The location was the only thing going for this hotel

Everything, booking cancelled for arrival. Called once while I was mid flight then arrived to a cancelled booking. Reception was extremely rude and room that was eventually given to us wasnt even made up or clean. Still had rubbish in it from other people Granted the card on file had expired but I updated it through the app but the hotel hadnt got the new details Im assuming. Tried following up before the booking but had no reply

Very poor

Back packer party hotel. No good if you want to sleep in your room.

Leaving it in the morning for the airport

Given the worst room in the hotels(room 229 ) Party central, room was over a nightclub. Overpriced and very old rooms. Took a deposit on our credit $100 and still have not returned it.
