Excellent.

Tommy helped us at arrival after indulging in some of amsterdams finest greener and tolerated us very very well. He was extremely helpful and so too was the manager Salimi I believe his name was, very kind, funny and created a homely atmosphere.

The balcony door did not have a handle to close behind us but apart from this very very good

Great place to stay

The bed was really comfy, everything was clean, staff is very friendly and the location was great.

Bathrooms gets a bit cold if you're visiting in winter. The room we stayed in had a window that overlooked another room so the curtains had to be closed all the time.

comfy, clean, friendly, inviting

weve stayed here twice now and the staff are always amazing, rooms and corridors all so clean and its decorated beautifully, the hotel is a 2 min walk from the shops and the building itself is beautiful.

We were going as a couple and were given 2 single beds pushed together with 2 separate quilts which wasnt the comfiest but didnt want to say anything as its a small complaint and didnt effect our stay :)

Booked when this was still the Hard Rock, wasn't made aware of the take over at all. Bearing this in mind, the hotel was pretty much the same, minus some Hard Rock decorations and complimentary use of an Electric Guitar or Record Player in your room (something that I never used anyway). The staff were still very friendly and helpful and still the same large comfy beds and other in room amenities.

Price still the same but technically less offered from the new owners compared to when it was a Hard Rock Hotel. Even if certain things were never used when owned by a Hard Rock, it was still nice to have the option there.

Stylish, comfortable hotel with friendly staff.

Loved the art nouveau style and decor. The bed was comfortable, with a lovely view of the canal.

Location is OK however after 10pm taxi won't arrive at the entrance, you'd have to walk cross the street

Felt like we bothered staff being there that they have to serve us especially in the restaurant. Very disappointimg especially the girl on the door had a bad attitude towards us. Hotel room super small and cleaning was not done properly even we left each morning a tip. Overall would not come back as there's many options in town. Clayton in Amsterdam disappointed comparing Clayton in UK or Ireland

Great location, near to lots of bars, cafes and shops. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Building excellent , clean & interesting. Lovely lounge area
