The Hampton Inn Waco North is loved for its comfortable beds, clean rooms, and friendly staff. The breakfast options are plentiful and tasty. The location is convenient, within walking distance of re (Read More)staurants, and there is a nearby Walmart. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but noise is not an issue. Guests appreciate the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations, and the helpfulness of the staff. Some guests had a mixed experience with riddles and the behavior of one staff member, but overall, it is a decent hotel with good value.

In Waco for an event at the Waco convention center.
Easy access to I35 and only 7-11 minutes from Waco Convention Center (where I needed to be for 3 days.) Lots of fast food restaurants near the hotel, too.
The light over the mirror was not working in my bathroom and I don't think it was just a burned out bulb since the electrical outlet also didn't work in the bathroom. This meant I had to dry my hair (using my hairdryer) in the room as opposed to the bathroom. The overhead light worked in the bathroom but since the light above the mirror didn't work that made putting on makeup difficult. The fact that I couldn't dry my hair in the bathroom or see very well to apply makeup in the bathroom was irritating. This is a Hampton Inn and it was okay for that type of property but it seems this particular location could use some TLC. Also, I think this location is waaaay overpriced.

A good, comfortable, clean hotel. Nothing fancy but decent value for the price. A good location.
A clean hotel and easily accessible right off the highway. Good value for money. Basic but comfortable room.
The digital key sharing did not work. Had to get regular lock cards.
