The staff at Hampton Inn Portsmouth Central were courteous and helpful during a large sports tournament for kids. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping areas and downtown, making it easy to (Read More) access. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had useful amenities like a fridge and microwave. The hotel also offered little extras like free tampons and pads, cookies in the afternoon, and a happy hour with snacks and drinks. Overall, a great choice for a cheap and enjoyable stay in Portsmouth.

Very good

Our stay was very nice despite Booking.com, we would not hesitate to return.

Booking.com had muddled our reservation but Carla was working the front desk and she was nothing short of amazing! She was kind, patient, and efficient with us and she certainly had her hands full trying to deal with Booking.com. She is a true gem and I hope she is appreciated. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was beyond our expectation. All other staff that we came into contact with were friendly and kind. Thank you.

Our only issue was with Booking.com. They proved to be incompetent and unhelpful.

Breakfast was very good and pool was nice.

Really hard to find especially in the dark. GPS took us to Home Depot and told us we had arrived. Poor signage!

Excellent place, will definitely stay here again

Not far from downtown ( 7-8 minute drive). Clean, spacious, beds were very comfortable, they even had soft and firm pillows on the beds to pick what you like. Breakfast was a nice hot breakfast, lots to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful

Pleasant

Pool and hot tub were not working and it was the only reason I booked there for a girls night. Would never have went there as I only live 15 minutes from there, very disappointing.
