Location, space, service, lobby bar was great. Rooftop bar was awesome space.

I was disappointed that the rooftop was closed for new years eve. This should have been disclosed upon booking since it was a reason why we selected the hotel.

Faulty towers

The location was really good.

The facilities - ie. Showers didn't work. Staffs response was slow. Took about an hour from the first call to report to change the room at 2am. I ended up leaving something really small but valuable in the hotel, they confirmed they have it but are ignoring all emails to try get it sent to me. Rooms are really small. They aren't filthy but they are far from clean. Thankfully, we only had to stay for 1 night.

Pleasant

Stayed 10-13 & 19-22 Dec 2023. The first part was a horrible experience but 2nd half was great.

After a horrendous experience in the early part of the stay, I was tempted to cancel my stay from 19-22 Dec. However, I was glad I didn't as I encountered a different crew who was helpful and made the check in experience more welcoming. I was greeted by Aurora who was very friendly and helpful. She helped to arrange to have the luggage in the store room delivered to my room. We also arrange to have wines delivered to the hotel, and the wines were in my room when i came back in the evening.

On 13 Dec morning, their lifts went haywire and the staff wasn't aware their lifts malfunctioned and stuck at certain floors. We ended up having to carry our bags down from 2nd floor to lobby and no assistance was offered. I booked this hotel as they stated there is luggage storage. To my horror, upon check out, they only state they can keep one luggage per room. I had booked 3 rooms for 6 pax, and they can only keep 3 of the bags. They only acceded to keep 4 bags as I had booked 2 rooms on my return leg. The staff was curt, one was them was rude and reluctantly took the 4 bags into their storage area. We ended up having to put the remaining 2 luggage in a storage facility nearby costing us Euros200 for 6 nights. If this was clearly stated at the start (ie 1 bag per room instead of per pax), I would not have booked my stay here. So, for those who are looking for luggage storage, please do check with the hotel first and consider your options before booking.

Great location for Madrid but don't expect a quiet stay for cleaning crew noise is extremely loud.

The reception and staff was excellent. The location of the hotel was fantastic and the look from walking in felt really nice and welcoming. It felt very classy.

The cleaning staff were horrific. Very noisy from early morning. Even with DO NOT DISTURB signs on the door the volume of talking between cleaning crews outside of the room was extremely loud. If you arrived late at night there would be no chance of a sleep in. We stayed for 5 nights and every single morning was the same - too loud to sleep. I even asked them to be quiet. Extremely annoying and disappointing for a hotel of this standard. They should not be heard and more discreet.

Good value, comfortable hotel

The beautiful lobby, the good size bedroom and bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and the location of the hotel is perfect for shopping, sightseeing, theatre.

In the bathroom there is no shelf or stand to set out cosmetics, toiletries etc. Simple to fix. No full length mirror in the bedroom. Also a simple fix.
