Good option for families; not worth it if you don't need a suite and breakfast/snacks

This is a hotel for families, since a major draw is the included breakfast and "happy hour" snacks and drinks. Kids have a blast filling unlimited cups of soda and getting plates of chips. It's a whole scene. But there are decent options, including sliced melon and omlettes. There is also a small indoor pool which, while the room could have been warmer so it was more comfortable, our kids really liked. The hotel is walkable to a ton of great DC options (less than a mile to Smithsonian museums on the North side of the mall, short walk to Gallery place, Planet Word, decent food options). We also definitely appreciate the suites, since our kids could sleep on the pull-out couch and we could sleep in a room with a door. It's nothing fancy, but for central DC it's a good option for families. And I appreciate all the staff at the restaurant who are dealing with lots of young families and their enegery.

If we have 4 people checking in, it would be helpful for the hotel to anticipate that we might need more than one blanket and set of pillows in the room. Reaching the front desk in the evening was a total disaster because they were understaffed (holiday time) and no one answered the phones. Eventually I just went downstairs and waited in a line to talk to the one front desk staff, just to ask for a blanket for my kids at bedtime. Not the best system. The walls are also pretty thin - we could hear kids next-door to our room early in the evening, but happily they seemed to go to bed around the same time as us.

Excellent value for the dollar

Accommodations, location, service, and the omelet portion of the breakfast all contributed to an excellent value for the dollar.

They stopped restocking the breakfast 15 minutes before the end of breakfast, even though there was hardly anything left except for cold cereal and fruit. Fortunately, the omelet-making operation continued until the end of breakfast.

Disappointing

We have never been impressed with Hilton stays and we still aren't

We liked the comfortable bed and the shower was pretty nice.

The room never got warm enough, the breakfast was bad, the valet was very expensive and the room wasn't exactly a corner suite

Very good

Room was good. Just need to tell your customer about all the extra tax charge

The rooms was nice. The table in the bed room can be removed. Taking up space

Wasnt told about all the extra taxes that was charge on my check out receipt. Its not listed no where on there website and wasnt told at check in. Bathroom toilet needed to be wipe down better. Seen hair in the bathroom.
