Excellent last minute stay, central location, clean, fab breakfast and very friendly helpful staff

It was very central, close to shops food etc. It was a very modern property and extremely clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful would definitely stay again

Lovely stay in a great guesthouse, nice and quiet away from The Fort hustle and bustle, free tuk tuk

The breakfast at Deltora Villa was honestly the best we had in all of the hotels we stayed in, in Sri Lanka. There was a choice of the juice and the type of main we would like, I actually had the sri lankan omelette each morning as it was so good. Bed was very comfortable and surrounding monkeys in the trees delightful. Lovely quiet area and ambience of the villa was very nice. The owner's husband dropped us off to The Fort the first morning as he was heading out which was very thoughtful. Staff were really nice and helpful with anything we asked.

In Booking.Com description of the room the facilities included a bathrobe. This was neither in the room nor apparently included when we asked the staff. I found this with everywhere we booked actually, either slippers or bathrobe mentioned that were never included. I was also conscious of the daily housekeeping being marked in facilities as an additional fee. This was addressed in a previous review where someone complained. The response from the owner to him was that if you stayed more than 2 nights you did get housekeeping done, which I thought was fair enough. However, this did not occur, we stayed 3 nights and did not have anyone do anything in our room while we were there, except adjust the television for us which was our fault for not knowing how to... I just feel that for the price each night and the quality of the premises if this was included it would probably make the villa a 10 out of 10!

You can stay in Galle without staying in the old Fort Fort

A good choice if you dont want to splash out on a Fort location. Although its just 5 mins away by tTuk Tuk and the hotel pays the ride into town. The place has every comfort and great service; good breakfast. Good towels, great bathroom. Monkeys, forest.

Our room was not well ventilated and smelled a bit musty.

The staff were very helpful

Sadly it was very noisy at night. A rooster that started at 03.00 and stopped at 08.00. Also the positioning of the Air condition opposite of the bed really made it impossible to sleep with it on.

Great accommodation, peaceful location and friendly staff

We had a great stay at Deltora Villa on the first few nights of our honeymoon. The accommodation was very clean and it was great having the pool to relax by and cool down in. The staff were very friendly and happy to provide recommendations for places to eat and help organise transport - some free tuk tuk rides are also included in the stay. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Galle

Lovely hotel, clean rooms and good location a short drive to Galle Fort. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the owners were very helpful and gave us contacts to arrange our safari in Yala National Park. would stay again.

Calm, simplicity (only 3 hotel rooms), good beddings and staff was friendly. Good waffles for breakfast...

We had a reservation for 3 nights and got a rather small room "garden view" on the ground floor. It was rather dark and facing a wall. Although it was overall clean, the room starts lacking maintenance. There were tons of Mosquitos, although it's not their fault... it was pretty hard to enjoy breakfast or stay at the pool. The pool looks good but sunbeds and around also start lacking maintenance. Breakfast was alright, you have to choose between 3 dishes. You need a tuktuk or scooter to reach animated/tourist place (Galle old town 5-10mn) or beach (15-20mn). For us, it was overpriced for a room in Sri Lanka.
