Superb

We had an excellent stay and particularly enjoyed the ease with which we could get into the centre. The location was architecturally very interesting and well worth exploring. Dianne was really welcoming and friendly and we appreciated her recommendations for local restaurants. Overall, the accommodation was ideal for us and we'd love to go back!

A lovely apartment, well located with a great host.

The apartment was well equipped and very nicely decorated. Right on the canal with a lovely view. Nice outdoor area, although it was a little cool and rainy for us to enjoy. We found the location very good -- the tram stop was not even five minutes away and the tram, which runs frequently, took us right to the Central Station. It was a real bonus to have a parking spot at the house. Amenities are within walking distance and we loved the farmer's market Saturday morning. Dianne was warm, friendly and very helpful

There is no separate common area, like a living room. The dining area is in the main bedroom. But for a 3 day visit, this was not a significant drawback.

Disappointing

Overall, we were all dissapointed and felt cheated.

The owner Diane was very nice and accommodating.

We booked this place on the belief that it was a 2 bedroom apartment, as is advertised- it is not. The entrance leads you right into the first room, where you find the bed and dinning room/living room (?) The actual bedroom is in the back with no windows and a sofa bed. The biggest problem is privacy, the people in the back room need to cross over through the "main bedroom" to access the bathroom. In the end our friend ended staying somewhere else because of privacy issues. I wouldn't even bother renting this "apartment" as a couple because you can find a better price and location in the center of town. Yes, the view of the canal was nice, but the location is not very interesting, and again, for the price, it is just not worth it.

Lovely place

We had a wonderful stay at The Green Tunnel. Dianne and Roel were great hosts and we felt really wellcomed. The location is perfect, the tram station is just a few minutes walk away and it takes less than 15 min to the Central station. And after the busy city center, the peacefullness of the appartment, the canal and it's surroundings felt so calming. Highly recomended.

Enjoyed staying at the Green Tunnel.

The hosts were extremely inviting and upon arrival, took us on a quick tour of the local area and canal in their boat. They made sure that we were set and gave us privacy for most of our trip. The neighborhood is very safe, even late at night and feels suburban, while the tram is very close and runs every five minutes or so to Centraal Station. I liked that the bedroom window is literally inches from the canal, giving you the feeling of being right on the water. The value was good since we needed to sleep three people and hotels in the city generally only accommodate two.

Beautiful place on the river with an amazing host.

Amazing view of the river, and amazing host. Everything was perfect. Nice restaurants and a lovely market. We'll come back again for sure

Dianne was a lovely host! The apartment had a wonderful view of the channel in front and it was also very clean. The location was very close to the train station (15 minutes to Amsterdam central). Highly recommend!

Our Long weekend away

Dianne was very helpful with information and directions, which made our stay much easier. The location is lovely and easy to jump on the tram to get to. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.
