We Loved it
We loved Everything about this Homestay the room was very spacious, the bed was so comfortable with an added bonus of a heated blanket which was just what we needed as it was a little chilly up there, Absolutely amazing views of the Himalayas on the right an we watched the sunset on the left from the balcony. We have to put a big shout out to all the staff here.. you are all truly amazing and you all made our stay.. especially New Years Eve one we will remember forever and we will miss you all

View of the majestic and mesmerizing Kanchenjunga range from terrace. Excellent and very helpful staff especially Ashal & Uttam, they would go above and beyond to help your convenience. The Terrace open area is nice. They offer free uphill cab service (2 times only at night from 8.30pm to 10pm) which was a must need. Tour options are also available and they arrange other cab services for any private excursions.
Room cleanliness & bathroom hygiene and facilities could have been better for the Standard Triple Room. It's not even about the staff maintenaning it but the way it's built, should refer to other top hotels for the materials and features they use for maximising cleanliness. Blanket warmer was not working the first night and it was 6 degrees, got it replaced the next day. The location is a challenge while coming uphill, some of the approach are very exhausting, cab is a must and if we go ahead with local cabs then they range from 300 to 700 adding more cost to overall stay.

Great view in more quiet area near the center of darjeeling. Really good breakfast and friendly staff
The room and hotel was quite cold (november) but there was an electric bed warmer. In general cleaning standard in the room could be improved but overall we enjoyed our stay!

The location was amazing. The rooftop is as good a location than any well known sight, to spot Kanchenjunga in all its glorywe found times making the Timelapse of the sunset at the rooftop invaluable moments for us as a family! The homestay is actually like home with homely food, a beautiful location (its the highest homestay in Darjeeling -2139m) and people that words cannot describe. Everyone is beyond kind and friendly and being three females travellers, we felt extremely comfortable and safe. The people working at the homestay are just like family and they are always helpful. Our flight from Siliguri was cancelled and a long train ride and cab ride to Darjeeling got us there past midnight, the boys were up and made sure we settled in the room well and fine. I would highly recommend a stay here when travelling to Darjeeling, it could turn out to be the best part of your trip.
