The Dakota Edinburgh hotel is modern and comfortable, with clean rooms and welcoming staff. Guests praised the well-served breakfast and top-quality food and drinks at the Bar and Grill. Some minor i (Read More)ssues included a lack of floor mats in the bathrooms. Overall, visitors had a pleasant experience and would recommend the hotel, especially for first-time visitors to Edinburgh. Superb

Great food, comfortable surroundings, great shower. A little over priced but only by a smidgen.

Great bar and restaurant. Rooms comfortable. N

Room could have been a bit larger and a fridge would have been good. But overall did not affect our stay. It's not cheap.

The BEST hotel we've ever stayed in

The best shower we have ever had, and we are fulltime professional travellers! This is the best place to stay if you want to be close to a bus stop for for Hogmanay and a very short distance to the unofficial Loony Dook cold water swim on New Years Day in Queensferry.

Ideal for pre-flight overnight stay.

The comfort:- great bed, and best shower ever. High standards of cleanliness, and lovely smell throughout.

Dinner was a bit expensive for out of town.

Was nice overall but overpriced and personally let down by the lack of options.

Modern, nice decor, good atmosphere

Menu online didnt correspond to menu in restaurant, we were told we were getting whats left in the fridges and therefore had a reduced menu. We didnt get what we had planned to get which was our main reason for choosing to dine here. Shower soaked the floor as it sprayed outside the shower. Shower head had build up of limescale causing the water to spray everywhere.
