Excellent location and great breakfast

Fabulous location easy walk to markets and old town and stations. Quiet. Comfortable free tea and coffee. Great buffet breakfast

Great stay

We had a great stay. The room was comfortable and very spacious for japan! The location was great, near to the highstreet and near the river. The extra amenities were nice- we were given bath salts which were in with tradition for the end of the soltice. The bed was comfy and the shower was good pressure.

Inside the hotel was nice and quiet but due to central location we did wear ear plugs as you could hear people shouting outside at night. Also i feel like there was a lack of interaction with staff, which i suppose some people like but as it was christmas when we stayed i think some interaction is nice.

Will come back again for the location and comfort

Love the location - in between two subway stations and plenty of eateries. Nice walk along the other side of river to the older areas. Shopping street at the other end with bakeries, pharmacies, convenience stores and grocery stores.

Great location - walking distance to many Kyoto sights & bus stops at the end of the lane. Easy to get to Gion, the shopping areas and plenty of dining options nearby

Right in the heart of the shopping district, excellent food and very close to the temples.

Great location, friendly helpful staff. Excellent Lavazza coffee available for breakfast and the lobby. So close to all the great restaurants.

It was a really nice, clean, comfortable and convenient hotel right in the middle of great restaurants and shopping. The staff was great and accomodating.

Streets around the hotel are a bit noisy and you can hear people outside thru the night.

Perfect.

Perfect in every regard. Our second stay and we wont stay anywhere else in Kyoto from now onwards. Rooms are modern and comfortable, as well as the largest weve had in Japan. The location couldnt be better. Close to everything in central Kyoto, but still has a personal and boutique feel. The breakfast is great. The lobby and sitting area are spacious and inviting. The staff were delightful and couldnt be more helpful. Thank you Cross Hotel.
