Clean comfortable room made so by staff who care in a good location.

Both people working the front desk that I talked with were very nice, bright, cheerful, and helpful. As they form the first impression of the hotel this is very important. The room was clean and comfortable albeit a little dated. I had a room with a small balcony overlooking the interior courtyard and pool. Very nice. When you travel often you can tell when things are being done well or not. My impression is that this hotel has staff that care.

This is an older hotel. It probably could use a refurbishment. But it is kept well. The real problem is the elevator is very far from the front entrance. Of course you can drive to the rear of the building near the elevator to unload your car but the luggage carts are in the front. So either way your walking a very long hallway. It could really use at least one other elevator near the front.

Needs update. Halls long and on the darkish side. Breakfast not free. Bathroom dard with the red wall. Compared to stays in marriott courtyard Dearborn, and Hamptin inns in new Paltz NY and Quakertown PA, total let town. Also before 830 am cleaning crew knocked to see if they could clean room. Seriously???? Finally. MARKET was half empty. Tough to find a snack. Would not stay again.

The location was easy for me to get into downtown Richmond. The beds were extremely comfortable.

The room was outdated and the rugs were old. There was an unpleasant smell when I first entered the room. Also, there was an inconspicuous alarm clock, that looked like an extra outlet on the night table that went off at 5:30 am. The next morning, the line was so long to get a cup of coffee that I just left and went to a Starbucks.

The staff was so nice and they were very helpful. I was surprised at how outdated the rooms were given the price. The room was very small but having a couch was really nice.

It was close to where we needed to be. University of Richmond . Wish I known there was a special rate so feel I overpaid .

Bed was too soft . Too noisy by our room close to the housekeepers room/ laundry , shower had low water pressure .

It was a good stay all in all.

We dis not eat breakfast at the hotel but there was plenty near by. Location was great as well.

Wouls have enjoyed free xoffee other than the keirig in the am. My husband bought Starbucks

A solid lodging option for Richmond West.

Very friendly staff, quiet at night, good location, on site Starbucks.

Feels a bit dated. The air conditioning was a bit temperamental.
