When we arrived and went to our rooms, one group opened their door to find a naked man asleep in the bed. When we let the front desk know about it, they had no idea who was in that room. They gave us a different room, and then someone walked into our room at midnight when we were sleeping because the front desk had given them keys to our room. This was a massive safety concern for a group of 11 college girls who were traveling for a competition. No one was able to get much sleep after that had happened.
Everytime we went back to our room the keys didnt work and I had to ask the front desk to fix the keys. The last day I had to go down and get the key fixed, the woman at the front desk said she had been locking us out on purpose because she didnt know who we were and why we were in the room. She told us that she went into the room and looked through our stuff trying to figure out who we were.
We were not the only party to experience random people being given keys to their rooms, it seemed to be happening all over the hotel. Very very upset with the complete lack of security, my students did not feel safe knowing that a key to their room may be given to a random person and anybody could walk into their room at any time.
My supervisor contacted the general manager, Mr. Haas, who did not respond to her concerns at the time.
We will never be staying with this group of hotels ever again.
