Cocktails expensive. For what they were, had better at the Savoy.. also balcony room, no dressing gowns ? Minor gripe

Fabulous hotel friendly helpful staff just annoyed at the extra added charges

Excellent hotel and friendly helpful staff

It stated on booking.com all taxes and charges were in the price I paid 1500 for two nights but was charged 1667 at the end of my stay 167 was added for service charge

The Location

i paid more than 4000 GBP for 2 nights and i didn't even have a coffee machine in the room, Minibar had no tea options offer. No kettle! When i asked about some tea selection in the room they said that they don't have tea offer in the room we have to call the room service. And about coffee machine the answer was "difficult to maintain it for so many rooms". When i reached the hotel it was 14:00 pm and i had a long trip and even requested via booking "to check in little bit early if possible"but when i was at the reception the receptionist was very rude and just said the check in can be only at 15:00 pm and she looked like upset on my question.. Wasn't even warm welcoming. And the most horrible thing was i dropped my wallet in an Uber taxi and and tried to reach Uber all night to just be able to reach the rider! But the only way was just keep sending email to Uber. I also informed the concierge about the situation just incase if they could do anything. But i found out the next day in the evening actually the rider found the room key card which shows the Hotel Claridges and from my id got my name and called the hotel at 2:30 am to inform about my wallet was found by him. Also at 6:30 am again gave a call to hotel to reach me by explaining the situation and the hotel didn't even inform me and by Uber team i was able to reach the Driver! This is unacceptable! Their excuse was the night shift person forgot to pass the information to the day shift to inform me! The hotel has only name but in details just a mess!

A beautiful Iconic hotel but let us down regarding the poor room view/building site/hammering a.m

Breakfast nice in the Foyer but eggs were stone cold. Location is perfect for the hotel. Bar fabulous, hotel well staffed.

The breakfast was very nice but unfortunately cold (especially the poached eggs) - this happened the previous year we stayed too. The room overlooked the courtyard which looked like a construction site - were not informed of this and very disappointed not to have been told. Also on the final morning of our 3 day stay we were woken up by builders hammering from 8.30 am - again disappointing.

From the start and on arrival welcome to Claridges was spoken from one of the doormen and wow did we feel welcome. Wonderfully chosen and deserved are the staff. It was like stepping back in time to quintessential London. We met incredible people and made memories that will last forever.
