Exceptional

Quite possibly the best hotel I've ever stayed in. I don't know what we liked more: the location (amazing), the breakfast, the staff, the hygene or the esthetics and the room itself. If we ever visit Shanghai again (which we've agreed to definitely do) I wouldn't waste my time searching for another hotel. 10/10

Perhaps they could've been more informative and welcoming in the messages before our stay began. I'm kind of used to hotels providing you with a welcome message, including the various tips and directions on how to reach the hotel using different means of transport, without you having to ask them for it. Instead, they just asked which time we would be checking in. So, no big deal, but it would've been nice to get a little extra information.

Exceptional

The location is next to East Nanjing Road. Near the metro station, walking distance to the Bund and People Square. Staff are helpful. Comfortable room with nice view. The breakfast is good with western and chinese food.

The hot water shower is difficult to control the right temperature.

Disappointing

Great location but poor service

Location and when you enter to the hotel it looks exceptional.

1. Check-in is very slow and time unnecessarily time consuming 2. We are rejected to the SPA area after 17, even though it was within working hours 3. Breakfast is not included in the price, and it is very expensive for what you get if you decide to pay.

Location is great, directly on nanjing road

Room was crazy cold, tried to heat it up took hours to get warm. Staff was okay. Lost my Keycard and they charged me for the lost hotel key card thats a first for me, it wasnt expensive but super unnecesssary

Good

Room, bathtub and size of bed is very nice. Location is convenient, with amenities nearby. Ambience is cozy and comfortable.

Could've been more forthcoming with the IDD charges, when I enquired on how to make IDD overseas calls, they did not inform me of potential charges. I have no issues with amount charged, just more of the information omitted initially.
