Dont stay at Casa Caribe.

Location, very nice staff.

Room #8: Old, rundown, cockroach infested. Breakfast is a joke: toast with butter, very weak coffee, and fruit.

Not impressed with the Customer Service to change our room to have what was expected and confirmed.

The apartment was a good size and clean. Had a kitchenette as requested. Shower pressure was great and after fixing the hot water, worked great. Was next door to the Ferry Terminal, was good for a day excursion.

The accommodation I requested and was confirmed was to have an outdoor balcony complete with outdoor furniture and eating space as shown in the photos. Our apartment had none of that for our weekly stay. It had a small terrace overlooking a back alley. I had requested to be moved when we were shown our room, denied. Again on the 3rd day when I noticed available apartment with a full balcony, again denied. Mercedez, Day Manager, replied that she wouldn't change an assigned room. Asked again on day 5 when I noticed more rooms with outdoor eating space available and many people checking in, again denied, she wouldn't change an assigned room to guests that were here for a week when most are just overnight guests for the Ferry. Last night here, again, empty rooms with outdoor patio furniture. The outdoor pool was nice to have but some of the loungers were broke and what could be a nice looking dock with an end Gazebo was in badly need of repair with a caution tape. Fix or tear down. Minor repairs required, shower ceiling. Not a lot around but we were OK using the Collectivo, city bus, taxi and Uber. Internet was extremely unstable in our room. I had to go to the lobby for better reception. Certainly not worth a 5 star rating that was shown.

Superb oasis, 5min walk from ferry

A great hotel to walk for the ferries. They did an amazing job isolating themselves from the port and creating a nice oasis.

The included breakfast is basic: hard toasts with coffee and a small portion of fruit

Very good

The room are spacious. Our villa had a big dinning room,with exit to the garden and pool.additional.2 big rooms with comfortable beds. We stayed only one night but it is comfortable option for longer stay. The location is near the ferry to isla mujeres.

On the morning we found a dead mouse near the door to the garden. This was the only umpleasent moment.
