Hallway smelled like a dog pound( nothing against pet friendly hotels). Which we never said anything about. Staff put air freshener machine right outside our door, overwhelming our room. The microwave in the room didn't work.

Very good

The rooms were comfortable and spacious.

There was police presence pretty much throughout our evening stay. Made me question the safety of the area. Would have like two TVs. One for the bedroom and a separate for the sitting area so that I could watch TV in the middle of the night without disturbing the others who were sleeping.

Pretty decent and good value.

Breakfast was pretty good. Room was good but bathroom had a couple of minor problems. See next question. Location was convenient and price was a good value.

The aerator on the bathroom sink had been cross-threaded so it sprayed two streams outside the main stream and the main stream came out at an angle. Also, the tub drain was a bit slow.

comfortable stay for the price. if you want full scenery and splendor of Madison, stay downtown

Very spacious room for the price. No noise from neighbors or staff in middle of the night. Friendly staff. bed was very comfortable and good curtains that kept the sunlight out of the room. everything to see or do in Madison was about a 20 minute drive away and accessible.

in-room wifi did not work most of the stay and phone in room wasn't functional when I wanted to ask guest services if it was working. wish the location had a little more scenery for the balcony rooms since it is mostly surrounded by strips malls and outlets.
