The property had everything you could need

The property was so big you had to have golf carts pick you up to get around and some of the staff couldve treated the guest better

Good facilities but a very old crowed (retirement home vibes)

Room was good for what we paid, nice big bed. Access to loads of different pool and a long section of beach. Choice of restaurants was good considering an all inclusive.

Nothing to do with the hotel but there were a lot of old people. I went with one of my friends and felt it was majority retirees so just a warning.

You get what you paid for. It was okay. There are probably better resorts worth looking into.

I liked that the property was close to the beach. The beach was so beautiful and it was a perfect temperature in November. I liked that there was option to go to multiple pools. There is also a little village where all the Bahia principe resorts go to, such as the casino or nightclub. Our room was nice but a little outdated. It seemed that there was maintenance work and repairs that needed to be done. The checking in process was okay. They were a bit slow and it seemed that the technology there is not where it should be as they had to take turns using one computer to scan passports I think. The overall staff were really nice though and were funny as well. They cleaned the room every single day which was great. The overall resort was clean. People there work really hard and it does not go unnoticed. Shoutout to the bartenders, they were amazing! Shoutout to the entertainment staff, the kitchen staff, the servers they were great! I highly recommend going to Rodizio restaurant if you decide to come here. It was the best restaurant in my opinion.

A lot of people smoking cigarettes. It was impossible to breathe in fresh air. Everywhere we went people were smoking cigarettes, including inside the pool (very unsanitary), outside restaurants/food places, by the beach, by the pool, common areas. It was a smell that was so nauseating that could not be avoided. After dinner, we went straight to our room and couldnt really enjoy the resort due to this reason. For that reason alone, I would never come back again. There should be designated smoking areas so that people who do not smoke cigarettes can enjoy the resort. I feel bad for the people that work there and have to breathe in those toxins every single day. They are exposed to second hand smoking which is known to cause cancer. The food in the buffet was okay. It was very catered towards Americans/Canadians and Europeans. I wish the food was more authentic. There was days where they had really good food in the buffet but it was hit or miss. There wasnt even a Dominican restaurant. It was American, Japanese, Brazilian, Greek, Mediterranean, etc we are in the DR not the United States or Canada or Europe. Do better.

Not all inclusive, you had to pay extra for the premium alcohol and extra for steak and other quality items. Checkin was supposed to be at 3, got our room at 5. Was told you could buy a premium alcohol wristband which wasnt true.

First time at a All Inclusive

First time staying a All Inclusive, Loved the property, room was clean daily, food selection was great, and the staff was extremely friendly went above and beyond. There were daily activities and shows in the evening. There is even a disco on site. Worth every penny.

Just the wait for the room, but I was able to enjoy all the resort had to offer while it was being prepared. Restaurants, Pool, etc

The good thing about the property is the beach and the location very close to the beach

This property is old, very dark rooms, unpleasant smell in the room, bugs in the room, old furnitures, liking roof during the rains. Not recommended at all. The stuff is rude and not cooperative, doesnt speak English and its very hard to understand with them. The is an express check out in the app which doesnt do anything, it doesnt matter that youre checked out through the app you have to go to the reception. Once youre checked out the even denied to drive us to the main gate on lunch time, led us wall atrium 1-2 km with suitcases and all our stuff, because the dont let all the taxi in the property just those who give part of the money to the property!!!! I dont recommend this hotel to no one. This is my first and last time in the BAHIA resorts. After this resort we were in a real 5 start hire very close to this one. The things cannot be compared!
