A special stay

The staff were amazing and very friendly. Jamilah helped record our proposal on the rooftop and afterwards upgraded our room and gave us great extras after a couple slight issues with our initial room. The location was also very good. Our stay included breakfast and although the restaurant on site was not operating at this time, they provided gift cards to a neighbouring cafe, Slate cafe which was wonderful.

Unfortunately being winter, we didnt get to really experience the rooftop bar or the on-site restaurant but can imagine it would be great in warmer months. When busy it can take a little while to get an elevator as there is only 3 for the entire building, but a very small flaw in an otherwise great stay.

They scammed us. The room didnt look like the pictures. We booked the king size city view and there was no view and the phone in our room didnt work and it wasnt a pleasant stay. And waiting to be checked in took forever and some of the staff were unprofessional.

A complete disapointment. Bedrooms are too small.

Location

The bedrooms are too small, and very uncomfortable. Never, during the booking process this was highlighted. Its more like a student accommodation. We didnt even have a space to open our suitcase. The bathroom is very small as well. We have contacted the management to express our disappointment and we were completely ignored.

Room way too small, no tea/coffee machines in room. No bedside tables, wardrobe space limited. Safety deposit box was faulty. Also, the internal messaging system via Booking.com was hacked a month before checking in and we were scammed

Perfect location with everything we needed for a few days in NYC

The staff were very friendly and provided us lots of information when requested. The location was fantastic, we were in walking distance of many great attractions and the subway when we wanted to go further. Although the room was small (normal for NYC) it had everything we needed.

As the bed was mostly made from wood it was very creaky, even just sitting on it made quite a noise. There wasn't much storage space or plug sockets either.
