Its a budget hotel. It is very much a budget hotel.
Breakfast poor and the breakfast service was so bad it was a running joke between the clientele! Main man (and youll know who I mean within minutes of arriving at breakfast) is rude, impatient and when you ask for things from the menu tries to stop you and directs you to a heated tray of sweetcorn (you couldnt make it up). When we both ordered bacon one morning, it was presented on one plate, thrown on the table and we were told that was all we were getting and it was for both of us. You need a sense of humour to eat here. Fortunately we have one!
The rooms were very small and very, very dated. It was comfortable and clean and close to the centre though.

Excellent value for money, delicious food, friendly staff.
Very fresh and clean, nothing was too much trouble, breakfast Buffett was lovely and fresh, wide choice and mostly homemade. Hot meals were cooked to order. We were there for 3 breakfasts and tried something different every day and it was all delicious x Excellent location a few mins from the station and the main shopping area, a reasonable walking distance from both harbours
They didnt do an evening meal is literally all we could think of!

We are very pleased with the welcome and service from the reception staff.
Very meager breakfast. There was not a single vegetable. Guests had to remind the staff to load food.
