Tantra lake house is a great place to stay...in front of d place entrance is kayal and back is full of paddy field...its one of the rare combination...Care taker and owner are very friendly they will do any thing for us...Surronding locals will treat u like a relatives but the price is very cheap as compare to the experience they are giving ...if u want to feel the Essence of "Gods own Country"...just go and stay in that place atleast once in ur life time

Very peaceful beautiful location by the backwaters, not too far from the centre. The staff were very nice and chilled. Nice hammock chairs at the back where you can sit and chill.

Welcoming homestay in a beautiful setting in the Alleppey backwaters

Perfect place for those looking for a quiet location in the backwaters. The property is set between a large rice field and a backwaters canal. Only two minutes walk to the nearest government boat jetty with frequent ferry service to different places around the Alleppey backwaters (Give yourself at least a few days in Alleppey so that in addition to an organized canoe/boat tour, you have some time to explore the backwaters on your own...you won't regret it!). Anoop and his friends are great company, and Anoop can arrange canoe or houseboat tours for you at the snap of a finger. Chef Shailesh is a gentleman and cooks up a proper fish curry in the Malabar style.

The location is great, on one side you watch the boats on the canal and the other side you have beautiful view to the rice fields. Anoop is amazing host! Taking care of everything, he arrange an amazing boat trip for us as well. Sailesh was making tea for us and every morning he cooked breakfast for us. Great place to chill while dtaying in Allepey. Thank you

We loved our stay at Tantra Lake House, we were looking for a place right on a canal in Alleppey and we found the perfect place! Nice room with comfy bed, but the best thing about it is the location: the canal on one side (so you can see the beautiful houseboats passing by, walk along the canal and enjoy the local life) and the ricefields on the other side, which give this beautiful feeling of peace and quiet. They can also organise meals and boat trips. Definitely recommended!
