It was a good price, a good location, clean, had a/c, some cooking utensils, tvs, lots of space, and streaming services. There are also a lot of people working for the company, and that makes it a little easier to communicate.

We left for a little day trip, and when we got back, the power was out. Unfortunately it was very very late, and it took quite a while and a lot of persistence on our part to remedy the situation, but we were moved, and that was fine, but we were moved to one room in a house instead of having two entire floors with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. I understand that bad things happen, and I was less friendly than usual, but the woman who helped us, made it happen as efficiently as she could. I would just warn people that the electricity might go out of it has happened previously.

Cozy house centrally located in Cancun

The location, the house, the pool and the facilities in the kitchen. The house is well equipped and the staff obviously try to provide good service, even if they are not always successful in this.

When we arrived, most of the house was modernized and seemed well functioning except one air conditioning that looked to be +20 years old and missing the front panel. It also began to drop water all over the floor after a few days, but the owner ended up exchanging it for a new one. We also had bad luck with a broken shower hes that resulted in a flooding of the whole house. In both cases it was not easy to communicate with the staff in order to solve the issues, and there were a number of misunderstandings. But, to be fair, it seemed that they did make an effort to provide good service.

This property owner-who has 28 properties on Booking.com-NO Renter's insurance to protect guest!

Location! Very easy to access groceries, shopping malls, and bus stops to beaches. I booked this condo based on others' positive comments based on their experience. So, I should share mine as a courtesy. This company[SCAPE/Hilda] runs 28 accommodations and previous comments were over 9 points. I assume that this shows how they are trustworthy. I thought it is good enough for my extended stay. so I booked 18 days here.

On the 13th day morning, the bathroom sink's water pipe leaked water which is on the 2nd floor, water flew down to the first floor through the wall. I had to guide my boys to a safe space during that, I got an electric shock. 1 hour after, staffs came and I asked to call an ambulance, but they did not. Instead, they gave me a ride to a hospital ER. And they were gone somewhere and left me with my sons alone. Medical expenses should be paid beforehand, but they were not there. Property staff told me they don't have customer damage insurance, but Booking.com has one for such cases. I had to leave the ER voluntarily without any medical treatment cuz I did not sure my traveler's insurance covers damage from such an incident. You have to know this house owner does not have insurance to protect guests. What is more outrageous to me is my boys witnessed when I got the shock. My first son who is 11 years old checks every 10 minutes if I am still breathing.
