Very nice apartment, but needs to be better maintained

Very spacious, two big beds, kitchen has more or less what youd need

One of the windows doesnt really close so theres noise from the outside, its only a net. The bathroom was quite small and there were bugs everywhere in the house, even a cockroach

Disappointing

While we resolved the issue afterwards, my partner and I were very disappointed with our booking. Prior to booking, the staff were very communicative and we were looking forward to our stay here. However, although it was communicated with the staff, my partner and I arrived late at night after a long day of traveling and travel delays in the area. When we arrived and opened our lockbox to our room, the key was nowhere to be found. Due to the time, no one was available to speak with us and resolve the issue, so we had to book a completely different place nearby. We were pleased with the eventual cooperation and assistance (and full refund), but just something to take note of. If we hadn't received a full refund, I would've rated them lower, but we were thankful that they did this.

Frustrating directions and customer service

Fully equipped kitchen. It really adds pleasure to being in a foreign country to be able to make your own meals. Because it is on a residential street, not a commercial street, the neighborhood is much quieter than a hotel. No constant car and motorcycle noise, sirens, horns honking, motorcycles revving their motors, etc. Just a couple dogs fighting. I'm sensitive to noise

No instructions on how to light the gas burners on the range and the oven looked mysterious. Maybe, it was just a place to store pots and pans and there was no oven. Also, I couldn't find the lighter. Locating the BnB is confusing. They need to give more elaborate directions to foreigners than for Mexicans. They could take photos of the businesses on the corner, for instance, so we know what street to turn on from the main street Also, they sent me photos of the gate code box that were different from the actual code box, so that didn't help. Customer service is done primarily through messaging, rather than in person, so they need to streamline the process. If English is not easy for them, they need to either look more words up in the dictionary or ask us to write in Spanish. The customer can do that in one of two ways. Either through translating the text or through self-knowledge. I had to repeat myself multiple times, just getting silence on the other end, not knowing if they understood my request. And in trying to see if my room had been cleaned and I could come from the previous hotel, it took an hour for them to give me an answer, even though only 2 out of the 5 rooms were occupied. They are slow and inefficient. They kept responding and showing respect, but I was hoping for more than just being sucked up to. Maybe, that is a common desire, to be sucked up to. If telling us English is a problem for them would make the customer lose confidence in the business, they can just request we write in Spanish and not make a big deal out of it

Superb

The room was really clean and I loved the detail they added to each room. There was AC, the beds were comfy and there was a nice terras. There were clean towels, soap and shampoo in the shower. Really recommend this place for the price (one of the cheapest we found in Cancun)

The perfect start to our Mexico trip

This was such a nice and spacious apartment. Our hosts were really attentive and quick to respond. We only stayed one night, but would definitely had stayed at this apartment for longer. Really nice, safe and secure outdoor space, and theres a really well equipped kitchen.
